Amid the game-ending chaos on Wednesday night, Trent Frederic had to be held back by teammates in tunnel after Ryan Lomberg went too far on the ice.

Nearly Choked Out

The referees were forced to end game two between the Bruins and Panthers with three seconds remaining, as all hell broke loose on the ice.

As the wild scrum ensues, Frederic and Lomberg pair off and wrestle to the ice, and while down, you can clearly see the Panthers forward has Frederic in a tight headlock.

Check out the incident below:

And according to John Zannis of CLNS Media, Frederic was so insensed, he had to be held back by teammates in the tunnel.

''Trent Frederic was fuming heading to the dressing room, screaming, presumably at Ryan Lomberg for attempting to choke him while the two were on the ice. Had to be restrained.''

I don't think Lomberg will feel as tough if he man's up and drops the gloves with Frederic next game. Just ask Lane Pederson of the Blue Jackets:
