Game Changing Injury News Strikes Bruins-Devils Game Following An Announcement

Following an announcement today some game changing injury news strikes the Boston Bruins and New Jersey Devils game.

Ahead of their clash tonight, some game changing injury news was just reported out of New Jersey and it could change some things.

New Jersey Devils head coach Sheldon Keefe confirmed that the New Jersey Devils will be without Ondrej Palat tonight due to an illness.

But that's not all, head coach Sheldon Keefe also confirmed that the New Jersey Devils will still be without former Boston Bruins player Erik Haula.

He also went on to reveal that the New Jersey Devils will be starting Jacob Markstrom tonight when they face off against the Boston Bruins.

Per Sheldon Keefe: Palat is out (illness) tonight vs the Bruins. Dowling draws in; Cotter moves alongside Hughes and Bastian. Haula remains out. Markstrom confirmed as the starter.

Erik Haula has been out of the New Jersey Devils lineup since January 5th, and was just considered day-to-day, but is now expected to miss some time.

According to Sportsnet, head coach Sheldon Keefe revealed on January 6th that Erik Haula could miss a couple of weeks after suffering an ankle injury.

Sheldon Keefe reported that Haula ended up spraining his ankle. His last game appearance was against the San Jose Sharks when the Devils ended up losing 3-2 on January 4th.

The Boston Bruins have been dealing with some serious injury problems this year as well, so it will be an interesting game.
