Jake DeBrusk breaks the silence after being demoted by the Bruins
The Bruins recently made a strategic lineup change, shifting Jake DeBrusk to the third line alongside Trent Federic and Jesper Boqvist during their last game.
Today, DeBrusk opened up to the media about his thoughts on playing with his new linemates.
"Our first game together was a bit rough we were still figuring each other out,"
DeBrusk shared on Monday.
Despite the initial challenges, he remained hopeful, especially after Boqvist's overtime winner.
While DeBrusk has been in a scoring slump since March 23rd following a hot streak of 12 points in 10 games, the Bruins are optimistic that this change will help him rediscover his scoring touch before the playoffs.
