For the second consecutive season, the Boston Bruins, under the leadership of head coach Jim Montgomery, have clinched the title of the league's best team.

Montgomery's prowess earned him the role of Head Coach for the Atlantic Division All-Star Team, where he teamed up with Justin Bieber to coach Team Matthews in a highly anticipated matchup.

In Game 1 against Team Hughes, Matthews' squad secured a narrow 6-5 victory, despite disappointing performances from key players like Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner, who both ended the game with a -3 rating.

In the championship game against Team McDavid, Montgomery made a strategic move, splitting Matthews and Marner onto different linesa rare occurrence under Sheldon Keefe's coaching. When questioned about this decision, Montgomery candidly stated, "Well, one line was minus-3 in the first game."

The calculated decision paid off, as Team Matthews went on to win the final game 7-4, with Matthews contributing two goals and an assist alongside Clayton Keller. The strategic maneuver by Montgomery in the All-Star game serves as a potential lesson for Leafs' head coach Sheldon Keefe as the team prepares for the upcoming challenges in the spring.
