While the Boston Bruins were preparing to take on the Philadelphia Flyers NESN revealed the Boston Bruins projected lineup, and inside there, there was some information from Bruins head coach regarding defenseman Hampus Lindholm's injury.
NESN reported that Joe Sacco stated Hampus Lindholm is still being considered week-to-week which sucks for the Boston Bruins.
November 13th Jim Montgomery revealed that the Boston Bruins would be without Hampus Lindholm for roughly six weeks.
Now on December 9th, Lindholm is still being considered weeks away from returning back to the Boston Bruins lineup.
Lindholm before leaving with an injury was one of the Boston Bruins best defenseman and best players in general.
In 17 games Lindholm has appeared in this year he has 3 goals, 4 assists for seven points along with a minus-4 rating in 20:51 of ice time this season.
Getting Lindholm back will instantly make the Boston Bruins a way better team, but it's unsure when the Boston Bruins will get him back.
Since Lindholm left with injury, the Bruins fired Jim Montgomery as head coach, and have gone 7-2-0 under Joe Sacco who took over as interim head coach for the Bruins. It will be interesting to see what Sacco does with the lines once Lindholm returns to the lineup.
Stay tuned for further details on this developing story.
