Boston Bruins head coach Joe Sacco just confirmed David Pastrnak will be out with an upper-body injury.

The Boston Bruins held a practice this morning at Warrior Ice before they head out on their five-game West Coast road trip, and got some concerning news today.

Steve Conroy, who is a insider for the Boston Bruins revealed that David Pastrnak is not with the team this morning, which was concerning because it's not normal for Pastrnak to be absent from practice.

Joe Sacco's update on David Pastrnak

Sacco revealed that David Pastrnak was missing from practice today due to an upper-body injury but the Bruins are hopeful that he is available for their game tomorrow.

Coach Sacco on David Pastrnak missing Monday's practice: "He's dealing with an upper-body issue so we held him off today. He's going to be traveling with us. We're hopeful that he's ready to go tomorrow. We'll see how he presents tomorrow."

This is unfortunate for the Bruins and Pastrnak as Pastrnak was just starting to get into a grove and find his game.

Hopefully he isn't out for too long if he doesn't play tomorrow.
