David Pastrnak, the superstar of the Boston Bruins, has been recognized by his fellow players for his exceptional performance and has emerged as a finalist for the prestigious Hart Trophy. Despite facing stiff competition from the immensely talented Connor McDavid, this 26-year-old Czech Republic native delivered an outstanding season, setting a personal record of 61 goals for the Bruins during their historic campaign.

To celebrate these nominations and the promise of many more memorable moments from Pastrnak in the next eight years with Boston, let's take a look at some of his most remarkable goals.

On February 20, Pastrnak scored his 41st goal of the season against the Ottawa Senators. Assisted by Charlie McAvoy, who displayed great determination even while on his knees, Pastrnak skated alone towards the net, hesitated briefly, and then beat Senators' goaltender Kevin Mandolese, securing his second goal of the game and contributing to the Bruins' victory.

Pastrnak's 53rd goal, which occurred on March 30 against the Columbus Blue Jackets, proved to be the game-winning overtime goal. Hampus Lindholm provided a stunning pass, and Pastrnak exhibited immense patience as he maneuvered in front of the net, ultimately deceiving Blue Jackets' goaltender Michael Hutchinson and skillfully placing the puck behind him.

On November 3, during the Bruins' seventh consecutive win, Pastrnak netted his eighth goal of the season against the New York Rangers. Positioned near the bottom of the faceoff circle, Pastrnak unleashed a powerful shot that perplexed Rangers' goaltender Igor Shesterkin, ricocheting off the post and into the net, much to the astonishment of the opposing bench.

In a game against the San Jose Sharks on January 7, Pastrnak scored his 28th goal of the season. Demonstrating the finesse of the Bruins' power-play unit, Pastrnak received a pass from Brad Marchand and swiftly glided towards the center of the ice. With incredible precision, he found a gap in the defense and defeated goaltender James Reimer, securing a pivotal road victory for the team.

On December 13, Pastrnak delivered a mesmerizing shootout goal against the New York Islanders. His skillful execution, including a stutter step, backhand maneuver, and a forehand finish, resulted in a remarkable top-shelf goal past goaltender Semyon Varlamov. Although shootout goals do not contribute to season totals, this particular goal proved to be the game-winner in the Bruins' 15th home win.

Honorable mention:

While this goal is in Game 6 against the Florida Panthers and ended in defeat for the Bruins, it deserves an honorable mention due to its extraordinary nature. This goal, reminiscent of a circus act, will forever be remembered as a captivating moment in Pastrnak's illustrious career.
