During his time with the Boston Bruins, both Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman became best friends, and since they have been broken up after the Boston Bruins traded Ullmark, they have shown what the power of friendship can be.
The whole entire Boston Bruins fan base became to love the goaltending tandem, and the two together became a power house for the Boston Bruins, but sadly all good things must come to an end, and Ullmark was ultimately traded by the Bruins in the off-season.
Bruins fans were not a big fan of the move in the off-season that ended up splitting the two best friends up, but the Bruins needed to clear some cap space to sign Swayman, but this just fuelled their friendship.
And on Saturday just before the Bruins-Senators game against each other, Linus Ullmark showed that the two former teammates still share a special bond with each other when his family showed up to the game with a special surprise for Jeremy Swayman.
Ullmark's family showed up with multiple signs to let Jeremy Swayman know that he was missed within their household, and this doesn't come as a surprise as everyone knows how close Linus Ullmark, and Jeremy Swayman's families are.
A couple years ago Jeremy Swayman even dressed up as Santa Claus for Christmas to surprise Linus Ullmark's family.
Here is a look at the signs Ullmark's kid made for Jeremy Swayman:
This truly is heartwarming.
Even though Linus Ullmark isn't with the Boston Bruins organization anymore, and the Bruins were in town to take on Ullmark's current team, it's still amazing that he showed up with his son and was routing for his best friend.
Unfortunately Ullmark was not able to dress up for the game against his best friend today as he has been out of the lineup since December 22nd with a back injury, but seeing him show up with his kid and route on his former teammate is truly heartwarming.
