Linus Ullmark calls out the Toronto Maple Leafs organization
Linus Ullmark is the newest Ottawa Senator, after he was traded from Boston to the Canadian capital.
He's kept that smoke for the Toronto Maple Leafs, as he goes from once intense rivalry with the Bruins, and now is a key piece in the Battle Of Ontario.
The Senators newest starting goalie has started the aggression early, by calling out the Toronto Maple Leafs, who lost to the Boston Bruins in round 1 of the 2024 NHL playoffs.
He was puzzled by Sheldon Keefe's insistence of keeping Ilya Samsonov in net, over Joseph Woll:
He felt that Joseph Woll was in control his game and a better choice in net, than Samsonov, who let down the Maple Leafs fans, with his lack of consistent play.
Samsonov, had a record of 1-4-0 in the series, 14 GA, and a .906 save percentage.
A dismal stat for a goalie in any important playoff series.
