The Boston Bruins need solid help on all areas of the ice, including their bottom six.

One place they could find a solution is Colorado, thanks to Valeri Nichushkin being placed back in the lineup after dealing with the NHL/NHLA player's assistance program,Chris Wagner.

Wagner originally played for the Bruins from 2018-2019 to 2022-2023 and spent 124 games in Providence during his tenure with the Bruins.

The Avalanche originally re-upped Wagner on April 3rd, 2024 for another year with an AAV of $775. He originally signed a deal with the Avalanche on July 1st, 2023.

Wagner only played 12 games with the Avalanche this season, and posted one goal in the NHL, on November 5th against the Seattle Kraken.

He'd be an affordable add, as he makes a league minimum salary and could be sent down to the AHL if things aren't working out.

Not to mention, was a part of the Bruins' run to the Stanley Cup finals in 2019:

He helped the Ducks reach the Western Conference Final in 2016-17 and was with Boston for the 2019 Stanley Cup Final vs. St. Louis, but did not play in the series after suffering a hand injury in the Conference Final.

Fans are already calling for his return on X:

A native of Walpole, Mass., Wagner has appeared in 385 career contests counting stops with the Anaheim Ducks, New York Islanders, and Boston Bruins.

What say you Bruins fans, would you welcome Wagner back into the fold?
