Major development: Jake DeBrusk's fate with the Boston Bruins confirmed
A major turn of events has developed involving Jake DeBrusk and his future with the Boston Bruins and it was confirmed.
A lot of fans have been wondering if Jake DeBrusk will be returning to the team next year or not, and with some new information that has surfaced it seems like his time is officially done with the Boston Bruins and he might be heading to a rival.
Lyle Richardson a known insider has confirmed that the Toronto Maple Leafs and Jake DeBrusk have mutual interest and might even have an agreement in place for him to sign with them whenever free agency hits.
This would be a massive loss for the Bruins, not only would they be losing a solid top 6 winger for absoloutely nothing, but he would also be going to one of their biggest rivals in the Maple Leafs.
The #Sens continue shopping for a goalie, Jake DeBrusk remains linked to the #Leafs, the #GoldenKnights are getting inquiries about their goalies, and the latest on the #Lightning in today's #NHL Rumor Mill.
If the Bruins do lose Jake DeBrusk in free agency they might have a hard time finding a replacement for him.
