Linus Ullmark is poised to make his return
In a notable update from NHL.com, Boston Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark is poised to make his return in a backup role against the Colorado Avalanche tonight.
Ullmark, sidelined with a lower-body injury since January 9, will support the impressive Jeremy Swayman, who excelled during his absence.
Swayman showcased his prowess with a 31-save shutout against the New Jersey Devils on Monday, maintaining stellar form.
Although Ullmark experienced a dip in performance in early December, he concluded 2023 on a strong note, marking a historic year for the 30-year-old goalie.
While the date of Ullmark's next start remains undisclosed, his return in a backup capacity hints at an imminent return to the starting position.
