Montgomery makes hilarious joke regarding game two goalie
Coach Jim Montgomery brought some humor to the press conference before Game 2 against the Maple Leafs.
He started by asking the media if they played Wordle, a popular word game. Then, with a playful grin, he dropped a hint about the starting goalie for the Bruins.
"The goalie tonight has two vowels in his first and last name,"
he said. However, both goalies,
Jeremy Swayman and
Linus Ullmark, fit that description, so it didn't give away much.
Montgomery to media about the starting goalie tonight for the Bruins:
«Do you guys play Wordle? The goalie tonight has two vowels in his first and last name.»
Nonetheless, Montgomery's witty comment added some levity to the pre-game tension, showing his ability to keep the team loose and focused amid the pressure of the playoffs.
