The Boston Bruins have one major piece still missing from the lineup, and morning skate from Florida brought the latest update on veteran David Krejci.
Is It Worth Getting Krech in the Series?
Krejci appeared in games one and two of their opening round series against the Panthers but has missed the last three games since due to a upper-body ailment.
The Athletic's Fluto Shinzawa shared an update on Krejci from the team's practice at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise:
''David Krejci (non contact) is participating in the AM skate.''
Per several Boston media sources, Krejci was the lone skater in a gold sweater at Friday morning's skate, and I don't think it's because it's the veteran's 37th birthday today.
Based on the facts, it would be highly unlikely that Krejci plays tonight but you never know during the postseason!
Puck drop is set for 7:30 pm EST tonight (so realistically 7:50).
