Nikita Zadarov, is the newest defenseman in Boston, and has signed a 6-year deal and took time to issues a statement to the Bruins fans everywhere.
Out of respect for former Bruins Captain, Zdeno Chara he asked all Bruins fans to stop calling him "Big Z" who is destined for the Hall of Fame, and one the longest Captains in Bruins history.

Chara was with the Bruins during the best years, winning a Stanley Cup with the team and being a regular post-season performer.

Chára served as the Bruins' captain for all of his fourteen seasons with the franchise, from 2006 to 2020.Chara' is only second to Bruin's 1st longest serving Captain in defenseman Ray Bourque, who served from 1988 to 2000.
