NHL insider announces James Van Riemsdyk has signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets
Former Boston Bruins forward James Van Riemsdky has signed another contract.
It was just announced by Chris Johnston of TSN, that the Columbus Blue Jackets have signed James Van Riemsdyk to a one-year $900,000 contract.

JVR is rumoured to pontetially be returning to the Boston Bruins on a PTO, and there was also a rumour that he was expected to sign a PTO with the Seattle Kraken, but ultimately he has signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Many weren't sure if JVR was going to get another contract, he went awhile without one as training camp is right around the corner, many people thought maybe his career was coming to an end, but it lives on for another year.
