If the Boston Bruins want to win tonight over the Florida Panthers, one specific trend could determine the outcome of the do-or-die game.
Will History Repeat Itself?
The Panthers have all the momentum after coming back from a 3-1 series deficit and will be heading into game seven with massive confidence. However, if one team wants to win, there could be one thing that could help make that happen.
As per Kevin Paul Dupont of the Boston Globe:
BOS-FLA series, when scoring first goal:
BOS: 3-0
FLA: 3-0
Getting the lead - especially the first- is essential in this opening-round series between Boston and Florida.
But as the Bruins veterans have pointed out, the first six games and the historic regular season are behind them, and all that matters is Sunday's game seven.
