Patrick Maroon calls out the Boston Bruins in a surprise statement
Boston Bruins forward Patrick Maroon was upset with the Bruins performance after blowing a 2-0 lead in their recent game against the Florida Panthers.
Maroon in a statement called out the Boston Bruins stating that they need to be better and shoot the puck more and hinted that they need to do a better job at closing out games.
He also stated that the Bruins need to give themselves a better opportunity at winning games, need to stop taking unnecessary penalties.
Maroon: «18 shots on a goalie through three periods is not good enough.»
Maroon: «We had a 2-0 lead. We didn't give ourselves an opportunity - and we didn't play good. And we can't sit there and make excuses and point the finger on who's to blame. It's 25 guys in our locker room right now.»
The Bruins will need to win their next game if they want to keep their season alive, they haven't really tested Bobrovsky and will need to do that next game by putting more shots on net.
