The Bruins had horrible luck during their game on Thursday night, not just on the scoreboard, but also with some injuries as they ended up losing two key forwards during their game.
Elias Lindholm was limited to only a couple shifts during the second period and many were left wondering why, until the Boston Bruins announced during the second intermission that he would not return due to an upper-body injury.
The Boston Bruins would also lose another player during the third period. Pavel Zacha ended up taking a puck off of the foot during the third period, and according to insider Steve Conroy he did not finish the game either.
With multiple players being injured, this has opened up some room on the Bruins roster for the team to make a move or two.
There has been a lot of speculation that Matt Poitras, who was sent down earlier in the season will get recalled to the Bruins as they prepare to take on the Vancouver Canucks.
A report this morning stated that Poitras was on the ice for Providence Bruins skate this morning, but the Bruins only play the Canucks tomorrow at 10 p.m. ET, and Poitras still has plenty of time to catch a flight.
