Jeremy Swayman had an impressive performance against the Hurricanes on Sunday, but he showed his feisty side as well.
In the first period, Swayman had a run in with opposing forward Jordan Martinook that led to a scrum between the two, and later Charlie McAvoy.
What Was Really Said?
The Bruins netminder shared with Matt Porter of the Boston Globe what was said during the altercation, and the results are hilarious. According to Porter, Swayman used a quote from the movie Step Brothers to describe the incident:
''My paint, baby.'' - Swayman on the Martinook incident.
As he walks away: 'Don't touch my players. And don't touch my drumset!''
Swayman stopped 34 of 37 shots to help Boston beat a strong Carolina team, without the likes of Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, Hampus Lindholm, Taylor Hall and Derek Forbort.
