Taylor Hall has missed the last 20 games due to a lower-body injury, and with his time off, reportedly gained a new appreciation for one the Bruins' broadcasters.

Watching Like the Rest of Us

Just like the fans of the Boston Bruins, Hall stated that he watched some of his teams' games on NESN with Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley, while he was sidelined with the injury. The forward recently sat down with Steve Buckley of The Athletic and shared how he obtained a new love for one of them.

''I've been really impressed with Brick, not just with the analysis but also the added color be brings.''

''He does a really good job of telling you what just happened from the perspective of what the players on the ice saw. I'll watch games on TV sometimes and think to myself, OK, that commentator was way off with what he just said.' I'm thinking, No, that's not what happened.' Brick's always spot on when he explains what just happened.''

Brickley appeared in 385 games over the span of his 11-year NHL career (177 games with Boston), but he's very familiar with what Hall is currently going through. As Buckley pointed out, he recovered from ''10 major surgical procedures'' during his career, giving him a distinct viewpoint regarding recoveries, comebacks, and making a return after an injury.

Hall, 31, recently skated in a full-contact sweater for the first time since suffering his injury on February 25th against the Vancouver Canucks. Most recent reports suggest that the former Hart-winner could even return within Boston's four remaining regular season games.
