The Bruins announce that they have assigned Oskar Steen to Providence; placed Matt Poitras on long-term injured reserve and recalled Mason Lohrei from Providence. On a positive note, defenseman Mason Lohrei is recalled from Providence. Lohrei, with 27 games this season, brings experience and skill, boasting six points.
