The Boston Bruins have reassigned winger Anthony Richard to AHL Providence, according to CapFriendly.

Richard, recently called up, made his Boston debut in Saturday's 3-0 loss to the Capitals. With only 12 healthy forwards on the NHL roster after Richard's reassignment, Bruins GM Don Sweeney is expected to recall a player ahead of Tuesday's game against the Lightning.

Despite his size, Richard has excelled in the AHL, boasting impressive stats over the past two seasons. Drafted by the Predators in 2015, Richard's career spans eight professional seasons, making him a valuable asset as he heads into free agency this summer.
