A clear message was just sent to Boston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman by the Boston Bruins organization.

Following the Boston Bruins previous loss to the St. Louis Blues, Jim Montgomery and the Bruins organization sent a clear message to Jeremy Swayman.

Jim Montgomery left the door open for Joonas Korpisalo to get his second straight start tonight against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

This is due to Jeremy Swayman's subpar play after signing a massive contract in the off-season.

Montgomery left the door open for Korpisalo to get a second straight start tomorrow, but did not announce a starter. Notes that players can be motivated against former teams.

The message that was sent was that Jeremy Swayman needs to be better for the team, as his play has been disappointing.

Joonas Korpisalo has been great for the Bruins this year, despite his record saying a different story.

So far this year Joonas Korpisalo has a 3-2-1 record with a 2.74 goals against average and a .901 save percentage.

Korpisalo has kept the Boston Bruins in multiple games where they should have been losing by a big margin.

For Jeremy Swayman on the other hand, his record speaks for itself.

Swayman has a 5-6-2 record this season with a 3.35 goals against average, moreover he has a shocking .888 save percentage.

The Boston Bruins need more from Jeremy Swayman, or else he quickly could be losing his starting position.

If Swayman does keep playing like this, Joonas Korpisalo may get more starts for the Bruins.
