The Boston Bruins honoured Jack Edwards before their game against the Seattle Kraken, and they did not let fans down. The Bruins continued their momentum following their shutout win against the Philadelphia Flyers.
In their first back-to-back of the season, the Bruins played some of their best hockey shutting out both the Flyers and Kraken. The Bruins beat the Flyers 3-0, and today they beat the Kraken 2-0 to improve to 6-6-1 now.

The Bruins did not waste anytime after honouring Jack Edwards, as Justin Brazeau tipped a shot from Nikita Zadorov in just 3:23 into the first period to give the Bruins an early 1-0 lead they have not seen much of.
Just six minutes later the Boston Bruins were given a chance on the power play, and did not miss it as Charlie Coyle scored a beauty of a goal for his second of the season.
The Bruins were dominate all game long and held the Kraken to just three shots in the first period, and 10 throughout two periods, where the Bruins had 30 at the end of 40 minutes.
The Bruins almost had a 3-0 lead in the first period after Pavel Zacha ended up scoring, but Seattle challenged the play for offside. The referees deemed that the play was offside as Zacha entered the zone before the puck did and the goal got overturned.

The Bruins are now on their second win streak of the year, and will look to make it three games in a row for the first time this year when they take on the Toronto Maple Leafs in an Original Six matchup on Tuesday night.
