The Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League have made a significant announcement regarding forward Connor Lockhart. According to TSN's Rick Westhead, Lockhart has been suspended indefinitely and is currently under investigation by the Durham Regional Police Service.

In a statement released by the Generals and the OHL, it was revealed that Lockhart's suspension follows a League and team Code of Conduct matter. The team and League have opted to suspend him indefinitely until the investigation is resolved. Given the seriousness of the situation and the involvement of law enforcement, no further comments will be made at this time.

Lockhart, a 21-year-old player selected in the sixth round of the 2021 NHL entry draft by the Vancouver Canucks, has garnered attention for his performance on the ice. In 30 games, Lockhart has amassed an impressive 20 goals and 39 points, along with 25 penalty minutes. However, amidst his on-ice success, the nature of the investigation surrounding Lockhart remains undisclosed. As developments unfold, the hockey community awaits further information regarding this concerning situation.
