Frank Seravalli of the DailyFaceoff reported that former Boston Bruins fan favourite Torey Krug might get bought out by the St. Louis Blues and this could be the start of his downfall in his career.
Krug isn't the player he use to be in 2021 when he signed his 7 year $6.5 million deal with the St. Louis Blues.
Seravalli thinks the reason that the St. Louis Blues might buy Torey Krug out is due to the fact that he blocked a trade last year with his no-trade clause that would've sent him to the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Blues have missed the playoffs the last two years and don't want to go into a full on rebuild, but it seems like Torey Krug will not be apart of them going forward, and they don't see a fit for him on their team.
Torey Krug spent 9 years with the Boston Bruins organization and many think that if he does get bought out by the Blues, the Bruins might be interested in bringing him back, almost like Milan Lucic.
