Trent Frederic calls out the entire Florida Panthers team in recent announcement
The Boston Bruins winger Trent Frederic was only known as a tough guy, until his recent breakout seasons in 2022-2023 when Jim Montgomery took the reigns of the big bad Bruins.
In a shocking statement by the forward, Trent Frederic may be friends with Panthers winger Matthew Tkachuk, but the hatred between the teams themselves is palpable.
Frederic's not afraid of the Florida Panthers and is after their 2nd round exit is ready to take them on.
But I'm afraid his friend Tkachuk would Turtle-up, should he have to take on Frederic in a heavyweight bout.
The Bruins and Panthers history is teeming with the makings of a rivalry, as they were eliminated by the Panthers in the 1st round of the 2023 playoffs, a 7 game series.
And again were eliminated in the 2nd round of the 2024 playoffs ending the series in 6 games.
The two teams have a history of shared hatred, so it would make sense that Frederic root for the Oilers in the Stanley Cup Finals.
Frederic will be on alert, once the Bruins and Panthers are on the ice again.
