His NHL tenure was short and was during the time of WWII, which led to a drastic shortage of players, so he got his look with the Bruins and Rangers from 1943 to 1945.
While William Bennett played 31 games for the Boston Bruins and Hartford Whalers, will join Scherza in the RIHHOF.
Bennett played 7 games for the Bruins during the 1978-1979 season scoring 5 points(1 G, 4 A) with the team.
