Last night's Stanley Cup Playoffs game between the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers was charged with tension, culminating in a dramatic fight between Bruins star David Pastrnak and Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk.

Pastrnak, not typically known for fighting, was visibly provoked by Tkachuk throughout the game.

After some back-and-forth, Tkachuk challenged him to a fight, leading Pastrnak to check with his coach before accepting the challenge.

The encounter ended with both receiving five-minute majors for fighting and additional 10-minute misconduct penalties.

Despite the Bruins not winning the game, Pastrnak's willingness to stand up and fight brought a new energy to his team, setting a spirited tone as they head into the next game of the series.
