Taylor Hall and Connor Bedard Set To Make NHL History

Everyone knows who the Chicago Blackhawks drafted at first overall this summer and if you don't, you must be living under a rock.

Connor Bedard, who is set to make his career debut with the Chicago Blackhawks next month could make even more history than he already has. Bedard could join some elite talent, alongside newly-acquired Blackhawk Taylor Hall.

Bedard could become the 10th active No. 1 pick to skate alongside another top selection in his NHL debut. Making it the sixth time Taylor Hall has played with a fellow No. 1 pick during their league debut.

Along with this crazy stat, the Hawks will take on the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first game of the regular season, meaning it will be a game that features three No. 1 picks in Connor Bedard (2023), Sidney Crosby (2005, PIT) and Taylor Hall (2010, EDM).
