Earlier this year, New Jersey Devils' head coach at the time Andrew Brunette was under hot water when he was pulled over by police officers in South Florida for allegedly driving a golf cart well impaired.

The body cam footage shows Andrew Brunette being pulled over and asked to walk a straight line, which he did not feel obligated to do. "I'm calling my lawyer," Brunette said as he walked back to his power cart. That is when things got heated, «you fight me, you're gonna regret it,» said the deputy sheriff, grabbing Brunette's arm to handcuff him.

The deputy was rather hostile to the now Predator head coach, who appeared to stay calm throughout the whole process and explained that he just wanted to go home. There were over 5 police officers on the scene, which seems rather excessive for the matter.

Near the end of the 3-minute-long video, Andrew Brunette explains he coached the Florida Panthers, "You know I coach the Florida Panthers?... The Florida Panthers, I was coaching, yah... You don't care."

Brunette's attorney, Eric Schwartzreich later stated that Mr. Brunette was neither drunk nor impaired. "We look forward to Mr. Brunette being vindicated by this accusation," Eric said.

Now, as of September 19, the criminal charges against Nashville Predators' head coach Andrew Brunette have been dropped, after they accused Brunette of driving his golf cart under the influence.
