Carson Briere Facing Criminal Charges For Wheelchair Incident

Carson Briere keeps making headlines, as it's reported that authorities have decided to charge the 23-year-old for pushing a woman's wheelchair down a set of stairs.

The incident occurred inside an Erie, Pennsylvania bar on March 11th (more on that here).

Handing Down the Punishment

Briere and Patrick Carrozzi - member of Mercyhursts' lacrosse team - were charged with the following offenses. As per USCHO.com:

''The charges are the second-degree misdemeanors of criminal mischief related to damaged property, criminal conspiracy to commit criminal mischief and the summary offense of disorderly conduct.''

Briere nor Carrozzi were not arrested but are to be arraigned for a preliminary hearing on May 22nd.

The two were caught on security camera pushing the wheelchair towards the stairs then launching it down the steps.
