The Seattle Kraken have locked up their top RFA, Matty Beniers to a seven-year contract worth $50 million. Friedman reported that anually he will be making $7.14 million up until the 2030-31 season.
Beniers is looked at as the future of the Seattle Kraken, winning the Calder Trophy in his rookie year after being drafted 2nd overall, and being the first draft pick in Seattle Kraken history.
The Kraken made some big moves in the off-season and now have the face of their future locked up and will look to make the playoffs again this year after missing out last year.
