When the Toronto Maple Leafs parted ways with Head Coach Mike Babcock, it marked the beginning of a storm of revelations.

Stories emerged about his strained relationship with GM Kyle Dubas and his treatment of players, particularly Mitch Marner.

After maintaining silence since his departure, Babcock has resurfaced as the new Head Coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

In his first interview since the hiring, Babcock addressed the aftermath of his firing, admitting his mistakes while disliking how he was talked about.

Do I like how I was talked about after I left? No. Do I think I did anything wrong? Absolutely.

At 60 years old, Babcock is eager for a fresh start with the Blue Jackets. Having been away from the league for 3.5 years, he aims to unlock the team's potential and guide them to new heights.

If he succeeds, the Blue Jackets could see a significant leap forward under his leadership.
