Transaction: Tyler Bertuzzi's fate with the Boston Bruins confirmed

TSN's Chris Johnston has made an interesting report regarding former Boston Bruin Tyler Bertuzzi and it was just confirmed.

Although Bertuzzi did express how he enjoyed his time playing with the Toronto Maple Leafs and would be open to the idea of re-signing there, things may have just took a turn.

Bertuzzi will be looking for a bigger pay day, after signing a one-year $5.5 million deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and according to Chris Johnston Tyler Bertuzzi more than likely will not be returning to the Maple Leafs next year.

"It sounds like Tyler Bertuzzi is likely to test the market at this point. Not exactly clear on Max Domi. There's sort of mixed signals there... he's looking for some security, right? I would think it would take a 3, maybe 4-year deal at minimum to compel him to sign before July 1st."

With that being said, the Bruins are a team to watch out for as they are looking to bring in secondary scoring, and Bertuzzi already knows how the organization works having played with the Bruins last year for a bit.
