The Boston Bruins made a promising move in the NHL draft by selecting defenseman Pelosi, an 18-year-old talent from New Jersey.

Despite lacking early picks, the Bruins called his name, securing a 6-foot-1 left-shot center, and some say he may be the biggest steal of the draft.

Pelosi's college hockey journey will take place nearby at Quinnipiac, making him a familiar face around TD Garden. In the previous season, he showcased his skills with impressive stats of 23 goals and 13 assists in 67 games split between the NAHL's Janesville Jets and the Sioux Falls Stampede.

Chris Pelosi also has a message for Bruins fans, despite not being in attendance for the draft:

Scouts highlight Pelosi's responsible and hard-to-play-against style, coupled with a natural leadership quality. With an eye for disruption, he diligently attacks the net and expects his teammates to follow suit.

The Boston Bruins have undoubtedly found a future star in Pelosi.
