After dealing with some work visa issues, the Boston Bruins will have Anton Stralman ready and available for their matchup Saturday against the Minnesota Wild.
Stralman was signed to a PTO during training camp, which he turned into a 1-year-deal with the Bruins. After signing the contract, Stralman has been dealing with some issues regarding his work visa.
The veteran defender was able to suit up for Boston in Ottawa. The game, however, featured many defensive lapses and a terrible giveaway from Stralman, leading directly to a Senators goals.
Once Stralman shakes off some of the rust, he will provide good depth along the right side. Boston is currently short two right-handed defenceman with Charlie McAvoy and Brandon Carlo still on the shelf with injuries.
Throughout his career, Stralman has 63 goals and 230 assists for 293 points in 931 career games.
