It's safe to say that the Arizona Coyotes have been the ''butt of the joke'' for a while now, but they haven't exactly helped themselves out either.
Whether it's sharing a 5000-seat arena with Arizona State University and naming it Mullet Arena, the company (Gila River Casinos) that kicked them out of their old arena sponsoring their jerseys, or the make-shift dressing rooms that were shared, the latest announcement might be the worst.
As per ESPN's Greg Wyshynksi:
''The Arizona Coyotes have announced that their helmet sponsor for home games is Goodwill, news that I'm sure the Internet will treat just like any other mundane sponsorship news, without jokes or memes.''
The Coyotes using a charity as their helmet sponsor literally writes its own jokes and might be the most hilariously ironic thing to happen to the franchise yet. The association between the two is just painfully obvious!
