REPORT: Ryan Reynolds is ''very interested'' in purchasing NHL team

Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds is reported to be ''very interested'' in purchasing an NHL team that is currently for sale.
Since the passing of former owner Eugene Melnyk, the Ottawa Senators have been ran by his daughters, who have been doing a good job at it as well.
During their time at the helm of the team, they were able to re-establish fan trust, increase ticket sales and set the framework for a new arena deal.
However, it was reported earlier this week that the Melnyk Family had contracted a sports marketing firm to help them sell the team, and apparently, Reynolds has emerged as a potential suitor.
According to multiple sources, Reynolds would like to purchase the team and have them remain in the Ottawa market.
And the reports don't just seem like speculation, according to Bruce Garrioch, who covers the Senators for TSN:
''Have been told Ryan Reynold's interest is 'real and genuine'. Any interested party would be smart to try to bring him into the deal.''
