The Boston Bruins made an improbable comeback against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night, scoring four unanswered goals to win the game 6-5 in overtime.

But it came at a costly price.

Defenseman Derek Forbort and goaltender Jeremy Swayman left with injuries and did not return.

Now, it's more likely that those injuries could be substantial. Neither player was on the ice for the morning skate on Thursday at Madison Square Garden.

Keith Kinkaid was on the ice with the Bruins after being called up on an emergency basis, and defenseman Mike Reilly was skating in a top-six role during rushes.

One positive note is that forwards David Krejci and Craig Smith were both back to being participants in team practice, although neither were skating in the top-four lines.

Stay tuned for more updates!
