Things got a little heated between the Philadelphia Flyers and Toronto Maple Leafs during the final minutes of Wednesday night's matchup.

Travis Konecny wasn't happy that Auston Matthews tried an unnecessary between-the-legs move to try and score, and the two exchanged cross-checks and slashes back up the ice.

Before anything could happen, Leafs' veteran Mark Giordano comes in and tackles Konecny to the ice, followed by Michael Bunting when Matthews and Konecny re-engage. (But not before Matthews gets one final shove in).

Former NHL enforcer, not analyst, Mike Rupp took to Twitter to analyze the entire play, and he's not a fan of how the Maple Leafs star handled himself:

On one side, fans don't want to see star players fighting and risking a stupid injury, but at the same time, Matthews is the one who basically starts the whole thing, then stands around with a smile on his face while his teammates are in the scrum.

What are your thoughts?
