Bad news for Nathan MacKinnon and the Avs
Nathan MacKinnon left the game last night after blocking a shot and taking a mean hit from Philadelphia Flyers centremen Scott Laughton.
The Colorado Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar confirms Nathan MacKinnon will miss some game time after receiving an upper-body injury.
According to Bednar, the amount of time the star centremen will miss is currently uncertain.
''We know he's gonna miss some time. Just don't know how long.''
In 22 games played so far this season, the talented young forward has 8 goals and 25 assists for a total of 33 points.
It's currently impossible to say when Nathan MacKinnon will be back on the ice. However, considering how he left early in the game, things do not look great.
The Boston Bruins are in Colorado Wednesday night.
