Fabian Lysell is the top prospect for the Boston Bruins, and is attending his second training with the team since being drafted 21st overall in 2021.

Patrice Bergeron is one guy who's now taking part in his 19th training camp as a Bruins player, has seen a lot of young talent come up through the system. Guys like Brad Marchand, David Pastrnak or Charlie McAvoy, to name a few.

Every now and then, a rookie comes to training camp and just has something that makes them stand out. The captain was asked if Lysell reminds him of a somewhat flashy player that came before him, that being Pasta.

In which Bergeron responded:

''He has the skills, the power, the speed for sure. He's very dynamic and very smart. It's crazy, with Pasta been so long. I don't know if I recall his first camps with us. With that being said [Lysell] is definitely a very dynamic player, you can tell on his forecheck and he's willing to get there which is great.''

Pastrnak came to his first camp in Boston seven years ago, in 2014, and even though Bergeron doesn't quite remember what an 18-year-old Pasta was like, he can sure see the similarities in the young Swede.
