As we all know, Boston Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron recorded his 1000th NHL point Monday night against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

After watching, it's evident that it couldn't have happened to a better player and person, judging by the kind words sent from his former and current coaches and teammates. Former B's coach Claude Julien probably said it best:

''What's even more impressive is that you probably prevented as many going the other way.''

It's amazing to see the impact that Bergeron has had on basically everyone he's crossed paths with, especially his teammates, who reiterate how ''privileged'' and ''honoured'' they are/were to play alongside him.

Of course, longtime teammate David Krejci had to throw a shot at Bergy's age during his kind words:

''I remember watching your first year with Chief [Johnny Bucyk], buzzing around, and now here we are.''

Bucyk, of course, played in Boston for 21 years, from 1957 to 1978.

Former Bruins making an appearance in the video include Claude Julien, Bruce Cassidy, Zdeno Chara and Tuukka Rask. As well as guys currently with the club, such as Jim Montgomery, Cam Neely, Don Sweeney, David Krejci, David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand.
