With the Boston Bruins beginning the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs Monday evening against the Carolina Hurricanes, it's time to look at franchise records that may be in reach for the club's most veteran skater, Patrice Bergeron.

In his 18th NHL season, the captain has played in 1,216 games and has amassed 400 goals and 582 assists for a grand total of 982 points.

Bergeron has played in 160 playoff games, contributing 46 goals and 74 assists, winning the Stanley Cup in 2011. Bergeron has the chance to climb a few of the Bruins all-time playoff leaderboards.

Bergeron needs just one goal, eight assists and five points to move into second place on three of the Bruins' all-time playoff standings. Depending on how deep of a run Boston goes on, the captain would need at least another playoff run next season to lead the club in all categories.

The ultimate goal for Patrice Bergeron will be raising the Stanley Cup as the Boston Bruins captain, especially nearing the end of his career.

Tonight, the chase for another Stanley Cup starts.
