Boston Bruins match NHL history with OT win in Dallas

Mired in the worst stretch of the season (1-3-1), the Boston Bruins willed their way to an impressive overtime win over the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night.
And with it, the team matched NHL history with their 40th win of the 2022-23 season. As per NHL Public Relations:
40 wins with 29 games remaining. Is 2022-23 the year the Boston Bruins set a new single-season wins record? Detroit (62 in 1995-96) and Tampa Bay (62 in 2018-19) currently share the distinction.
This team also became just the seventh team in league history to hold a win percentage of .800 or higher (currently .802), through 860 total games of a season.
