Boston Bruins set franchise history with Sunday night's win
The 2022-23 Boston Bruins were already off to one of the best starts in franchise history, and after last night's 5-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks, it all but confirmed their historic start.
For the first time in their 98-year history, the Bruins opened a season with nine consecutive wins at home. The longest season-opening win streak at home still belongs to the 1963-64 Chicago Blackhawks and the 2020-21 Florida Panthers, who share the record at 11.
