The Boston Bruins tied their best-of-seven series at two games apiece with the Carolina Hurricanes after two convincing wins on home ice. The series is now a best-of-three starting on Tuesday night in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The Bruins' wins were led by forward Brad Marchand, who has collected 3 goals and 5 assists in the last two games after just one assist in the first two. A huge reason for Marchand's and the Bruins' success is because of head coach Bruce Cassidy's decision to reunite "The Perfection Line" of Marchand, Bergeron and Pastrnak for games three and four.

Marchand now leads the NHL in playoff scoring with 3 goals and 6 assists, thanks in big part to his dominant game four against the Hurricanes. In the 5-2 win, Marchand was involved in every one of his team's goals, with 2 goals and 3 assists on the night. A game that also put him on a shortlist of the Boston Bruins' history books.

He became the third Bruin in the last 36 years to record at least five points in a postseason game. He joins Vladimir Ruzicka, who collected 1 goal and 4 assists in game two of the 1991 Conference Finals and teammate David Pastrnak who had 3 goals and 3 assists in game two of the 2018 first round (Franchise record).

Brad Marchand also moved into sole possession of third place on the Boston Bruins' all-time playoff goals list with the 47th and 48th of his career, passing Phil Esposito (46). He also sits just one goal back of teammate Patrice Bergeron for second place.
