The Halifax native has 32 goals and 46 assists for a total of 78 points in 69 games this season. That's with his recent 11-game goalless drought, where he only managed to collect five assists in that same span.
Marchand currently leads teammate David Pastrnak by three total points, who is finally returning back to his regular self after injury. Marchand has led the Boston Bruins in points every season but one since the 2016-17 NHL season.
That one season he didn't lead the team was 2019-20, when Pastrnak had a career year of 48 goals and 47 assists. Marchand did come in second with 87 points, though.
All those great years have skyrocketed him up the Bruins' all-time points leaderboard. With a goal and an assist Tuesday night against the Florida Panthers, Marchand tied Wayne Cashman for seventh place in all-time Bruins' scoring with 793 points.
Now, with two games remaining on the schedule, Brad Marchand has the chance to take sole possession of seventh place.
The 33-year-old still has three years left on his contract that expires after the 2024-25 season. He's still 500+ points behind Ray Bourque and Johnny Bucyk for first and second all-time, so that may be a bit too far out of reach, and he's chasing his linemate, Patrice Bergeron, in the process.
